Through Anza, a customer saw a market-wide view of modules that met their project criteria. When assessing their options from a module price, install cost, and production benefit perspective using Anza’s Effective $/W metric, there was a clear frontrunner. The top ranking products were from the same Tier-1 vendor, one was Mono PERC and one was TOPCon. The TOPCon option was an easy choice for our client. Even though it was 1.7 cents per watt more expensive, it was 4.5 cents or $2 million more valuable from a total lifetime profit perspective.

An Anza customer needed to find replacement modules that were mechanically and electrically compatible to what was damaged on a 6 MW project. The goal was to do an easy swap without having to redo the balance of system components. Without Anza platform access, the customer would need to use a high-priced distributor and do time-intensive analysis. With Anza’s solar panel specs, the client could see 10 modules that met width, height, weight, Isc, Voc, string length, and other criteria while also seeing the Effective $/W metric results.
