From our origins at Borrego, we understand the business needs of developers, IPPs, and EPCs and have firsthand knowledge to support your solar optimization and procurement processes and your energy storage project from sourcing through BESS commissioning.

Our History

Anza is filled with solar and storage industry leaders who have experienced firsthand the challenges faced by procurement, solar development, and engineering professionals. Our founders and core team came from Borrego. Founded in 2002, Borrego was a pioneer in the industry, with a GW of experience in BESS and solar EPC, development, and O&M. Our industry leading energy storage team has executed over 55 BESS projects from design and sourcing to construction and commissioning. Our solar engineers and sourcing team have a GW of experience across utility-scale and DG projects.

  • Project manages Anza’s customer success process, supporting clients with questions, resource requests, or issues
  • Leads Anza’s logistic management services, maintaining strong relationships with suppliers to reduce the risk of project delays and disruptions

Isabelle Christensen, PhD

Director Of Energy Storage

  • 20+ years in leadership roles in the solar, storage, green hydrogen, and DERMs space
  • Deep field experience and connections in Asia and European manufacturing facilities and regularly performs factory audits of Anza’s strategic suppliers

Tarn Yates

  • 17+ years in solar
  • Brings industry experience in design, cost estimating, performance modeling, and financial analysis to his role on the Anza tech team

Senior Engineering Manager, Energy Storage
